Design Theme:

Pregnancy Health Guru is:
youthful, vibrant, bold, exciting, modern, clean, uncluttered, accessible, friendly, Female, connected, optimistic, creative, fun, energetic, informative, credible

Pregnancy Health Guru is not:
girly (no flowers and princesses), childish, pretentious, overly sophisticated, organic, retro, cute, overly busy, overly flashy, clinical.

Demographic:
18-45 y/o professionals who are actively engaged in starting a family. Primarily a female audience but the site should also serve men.

Layout and composition:
3 column layout with occasional overlap on certain pages. The layout has a magazine style homepage with featured content and an index of all content offered on the site. Featured videos and video player are displayed in the top center.

The primary navigation for Content is in the left navigation bar which has big bold rollovers allowing the user to preview content offered at the next level. No top navigation is currently used in order to focus the viewer on the content more prominently but the site was designed to accommodate top navigation if needed in the future.

The search feature displays content from individual channels as well as from across the HealthGuru platform.

Images:
The following list indicates the standard image sizes to be used across all of our new sites. This list encompasses all currently known uses and we should strive to conform to these standard sizes with all future designs.

When uploading images on the new platform we no longer need to 'save for web'. We should simply upload the image as a jpg file at 640x480 or 480x640.

In all future designs delivered to IT for development the designer should note the size of any images used from the list above.

Images and videos will be stored in Media Pack’s with all of the sizes shown below and associated with published works in order to display the proper imagery across the entire platform.
