Do this after creating a new branch and new checkout from the branch:
1.Make sure all the tables and fields match
2.Copy the Media folder and chmod 777
3.Copy the petition data folder and chmod 777
4.Create new folders in searchtools “content_index” and “content_keyword_index”
5.chmod the index folders and /app/data folder to 777
6.Change the environment to Production in index.php
7.Change the database to hgplatform in config
8.Update the crontab to point to the new release beta #
9.Update the path in hgplatform virtualhost
10.Restart the apache server
11.Make sure everything is working
12.Update the cache files, RSSCache and BuildSearch?
