Description
Issues on home page:
1. The top right box in the mid-section lacks a header (“Women’s Health” or something…)
2. The lead article on the right side has a bad image (yellow box), and some junk in the excerpt, neither of which I could figure out how to fix easily
3. The Pregnancy Health section rolls into the line below it
article pages:
4. bENEATH THE TAGS - IN THE SAME BOX WE WOULD LIKE TO PUT AN EMBEDDED VIDEO PLAYER THAT AUTO-PLAYSS. tHIS SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY SHOOSE THE MOST RELEVANT VIDEO BASED ON KEYWORD MATCH BUT SHOULD HAVE AN OVERIDE FEATURE BASED ON THE VIDEOS.
5. the tags box should allow for landing pages similar to other sites correct?
6. The related articles/videos/surveys section looks a little rough…
a) The images in the top block of each aren’t aligned because the titles occupy a different number of lines. We should adopt a format such that the picture is always in the same place, regardless of title length.
b)Similarly, there probably shouldn’t be so much empty space in the bottom of that top box, and the text from each of the boxes should end on the same line (this isn’t happening for the same 2 line title issue).
7. at the bottom of the article page we should go to 2 columns (articles/videos)
8. Surveys can be promoted with individual questions in the right column.
9. Health Guru, Health A to Z. Now that we’ve removed the duplicates, we should probably change the pagination… there are 16 categories listed under A (max = 42), 25 under B-C, 21 under D-F, 26 under G-H, 15 under I-M, 35 under N-P, and 41 under Q-Z; With ~150 categories, we should probably try for relatively equally sized groups… A-B would be 26, C-D would be 23, E-G would be 21, H-I 25, J-O 21, P-R 25, S 27, T-Z 12.
10. you’re aware of this, but we need to tweak the way in which Pregnancy/Pregnancy Health guru (and other channels) look in the common conditions group
11. Within the Health Guru Categories, I think the sub-categories should probably be in alphabetical order (NOT TRUE FOR THE OTHER CHANNELS)
12. In the channel rollovers there are still some strange characters in the text – these are front and center, so we should make sure that they are fixed.
13. On the news article page, the commenting policy goes behind the featured surveys…
14. I do not see the vibrant intellitext ads on the new NHG – were they not able to get transferred over?
15. We should add the universal Google analytics tag to the footer of all of our sites to allow us to track behavior of all of our sites together.
